CERPD has carried out pre-CDM on a project that captures and purifies landfill gas generated at the Bangcheon-ri landfill in Daegu and supplies district heating water to 15,000 households annually. Greenhouse gas reduction performance was registered as a VCS project before registration on CDM, and that was the first performance for a local government to get issuance of about 290,000 tons of VCU in 2010.

Seoul Solar Power Generation project by Korea Central Power Corporation is expected to generate about 1.6 million KWh of electricity annually by installing 5,658 solar cell modules in the level of 230W and reduce greenhouse gas by about 1,000 tons per year.
CERPD supported the process of registering this project as a CDM project with UNFCCC in September 2012.

Waste Energy Recovery cogeneration Project is one located in Hyundai Steel Mill. Through this project, surplus waste gas produced by Hyundai Steel is converted into electricity through Hyundai Green Power and supplies about 5 million MWh of electricity to the power grid.
This project was registered to VCS in 2012 under the name of CERPD and has issued about 3 million tons of VCUs annually and supplying them to the international market.
